Thank You - Our Heros

Hello, Happy  Monday!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, mine was good, tried to get
as much rest as I could to kick this bug that decided to hit me on Wednesday, so
far I am beginning to feel somewhat better.

Today I am sharing my cards for this week's  new challenge over on my challenge blog
Love to Create Challenges

This week our theme is in honor
  Any Hero - Thank You

There is a wonderful organization here in the USA called Operation Write Home (OWH) that collects and ships hand made cards to our Troops all over the world. This gives the troops a way to stay connected with their families while they are serving our country. Along with those dozens of boxes of hand made cards OWH includes Any Hero Mail. These are Thank You cards with messages of gratitude and encouragement inside.

I did double duty with my card this week since Sassy Studio Designs is our wonderful sponsor for our challenge this week at Love to Create Challenges, also being a DT member for SSD I combined my card with another challenge that SSD is sponsoring
Feeling Sketchy Challenge

Here is their sketch this week which I used for my card

Hope I have inspired you, we would love to have you come join us at Love to Create Challenge, for a chance to win some  fabulous prizes from our wonderful sponsors.

Goldilocks Honey Gift Set

If you are here for the SSD Hop please scroll down!!
Sorry two SSD post today!

Today I  have another fabulous image from Sassy Studio Designs to share!

SSD is sponsoring a wonderful challenge over at Glitter & Sparkle Challenges
where their theme this week is
Anything but a card

I created this fun gift set holder with Goldilocks Honey

When shopping at Target, my first stop is always their $1 spot
always looking for great items that one day I can use in my crafts.
I found some 4oz bottles of hand lotion and body spray in a sweet Pear scent
that I knew would make a perfect gift for someone special!

Using 8.5 x 11 card stock I cut it at 3.5 inches twice then scored both at 1 1/2, 2 1/2 and 9 inches
to create my base for my holder. Gluing the two pieces together at the bottom
Adding two 1 1/2 by 4 strips to the side

Then I decorated the front, punch holds in the top for my ribbon closure!
Super easy and fun little gift set!

Hello and a Happy Thursday to everyone!!
Here to share this week's Dare to Be Sassy Thursday challenge!!
over on the Sassy Studio Design blog

This week our DTBST challenge is

Season of Thanks
Thank You or Thanksgiving

For my project I made this fun Wine bottle tag!
For the base I used a 3x7 piece of card stock, scored at 2 inches
from the top, then punch a hole in the middle between the top and the score line.
For my tag I used a pre-made tag from DCWV  The Chateau Lavender Stack, as well as
a pre-made label from the same papers. I stamped my sentiment onto the label the attached with double sided tape to the tag, Color my sweet Sassy Studio image Sassy Cassie and fussy cut her
to pop onto the label. To finish my bottle tag added pearls to the flowers on the label, pearl flourish and pearls on the bottom.

Here's a close up of Sassy Cassie, notice her pearls on her boots, those were added with
my Viva Decor Pearl Pen ( love these).
