Hello, Happy Tuesday,

Today we have a new challenge posted on the Sweet Stamps Challenge blog

Our challenge theme this week is
Shaped Cards
(anything but a square or rectangle )

Each week Sweet Stamps has a new challenge and although you are not required to use a Sweet Stamp, if you have some we would love for you to use them and you will receive a second entry into our draw.

Our prize each week to one lucky winner is a $20.00 gift certificate to Sweet Stamp Store for use on any of our lovely rubber stamps.

This was a fun challenge for me as I was able to use Cheery Lynn Designs French Flair Stacker Nesting Dies to create my full card. My card base is cut using the largest of the dies 5 7/8" x 5 7/8"
then continued with the next smaller die - I then stamped Bloom Word sentiment  with Memento Tuxedo Black on a oval die cut base and distress the edges of the yellow card stock with Shades Ink  Buttercup Yellow Sunshine. The beautiful design paper is from 6x6 Authentique Blissful pad . Ribbon, flowers and rhinestone swirl from my supplies. I used Copic C1 and Y21 to color my flowers to match the papers.

I glued to a circle base and then added a pear color brad in the center. My Sentiment is from  My Little Friend digital set. Lace and Sheer ribbon from my supplies.

Molly Valentines gift set

Hello and A Happy Friday to everyone!!!!!!!

Today Stamp Fairy has a new release just in time for you to create some adorable Valentines cards  or any day cards!
I created a Valentine gift set using three of the new images being released today called Molly Love

I will fore- warn  lots of pictures within this post :)

For my main card I used Molly Love 4 and the freebie image fence.
I paired this darling image with Memory Box brioche paper 6x6 pad
along with red and yellow card stock, I printed Molly at 3 inches and the fence at 2.8 inches
then hand cut the fence out to use as a border on my design. Molly is colored with Copic and I paper pieced her dress, two different lace and beautiful red sheer ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon

Here I wanted to show a better angle of the fence (this is a free image within the new collection)
to show how you could use as a border within your design

Matching Heart basket using Molly 3 made using my Spellbinder heart dies
and MS border punch
Molly's dress is paper pieced with Memory Box pattern paper and her blouse
and tights are highlighted with a bit of Star Dust Stickles. Red Heart Grossgrain Ribbon
from Really Reasonable Ribbon

Side view of my heart basket showing more of the detail and embellishments
with bits of ribbon and flower.

My Little Rebel & a Sweet Valentine Topper

Happy Thursday!!

Today is inspiring Thursday at Digital Delights blog!! You definitely won't want to miss all the fantastic projects the design ladies are sharing this week!

I have a couple of projects to share today, One more card to share using one of the adorable images from Digital Delights' January's new  50's release and

I just love the movie "Rebel without a Cause" staring James Dean when I was a teenager. When I stumbled across this paper in my scrap basket I knew I had to make Heart Throb Richie,
just a bit on the bad side, but in a good way!  LOL!!

Now isn't this paper just the perfect piece of scrap for Heart Throb Richie? I guess I knew
when I held onto this paper I would one day have the perfect image for it!! Very clean and simple card, using a Cuttlebug embossing folder for my red card stock, Black ribbon, Hearts using MS heart punches.
My silver squares are stickers I also found in my mass stash as I have been cleaning and purging my craft room.

For second share, I used the colored Cooking Bear Topper
and created this fun little gift for one of my neighbors girls'

Another fun and easy gift to make, especially with the Colored image, all you have to do is print and cut it out. I add a heart shape doily, MS punched hearts, pearls using my Pearl Pen, ribbon bow and two ticket sentiments - Just for You can be found in the store. Filled with some delicious cookies
makes a perfect sweet gift!

Thanks for visiting and be sure to check out  Digital Delights Bargain or Friday Freebie

Ribbons and Pearls with Whimsy Inspired Challenge

Hello,

There's a new challenge at Whimsy Inspired Challenge blog, this week we are playing with ribbons and pearls
Two of my favorite embellishments to add to any of my projects.

We hope you will join us  for a chance to win 5 images of your choice - as well as a random winner being chosen, who has used a Whimsy Stamps
image (rubber or digital) will have the opportunity to be a guest designer for a future challenge.

If you have used a Whimsy image and would like to be a future guest designer be sure to add GDT next to your name when you link your card.

For my card I attempted to do a Clean and Simple one
using some Candy Heart images by Chrissy.
I had a hard time leaving it as is and not adding
additional embellishments :)

Candy Heart images are from Candy Hearts sets 1,2 & 3
Using my scor-pal I created a texture to the top, a border lace
using a scrap from Jellibean Soup Blossom and a MS lace border punch
Added pearls to the borders, ribbon and Dazzlin Diamonds to the hearts.

For the inside I again kept it CAS using one Candy Heart from Chrissy's Candy Heart set 4.
adding some doodling along the edge. Leaving plenty of room for a message.

Be sure to stop over to our challenge blog
to see all the wonderful inspiration team A is sharing today

Would love to hear your thoughts on this CAS card,
or suggestion to help inspire me when I attempt a CAS card in the future - hahaa!

Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by to visit!

Love is in the Air

Hello, Happy Tuesday,

Today we have a new challenge posted on the Sweet Stamps Challenge blog

Our theme this week is all about

LOVE

Our prize each week to one lucky winner is a $20.00 gift certificate to Sweet Stamp Store for use on any of our lovely rubber stamps.

For my card I began by making my own bingo card in word then stamped our Vertical Love stamp with Burgundy Shades Ink , cutting each letter separately to affix to the empty block on my card using a small pop dot to add a 3D effect. Background design papers are First Edition Love Letter 6x6 pad. Behind my bingo card I cut Cheery Lynn Design French Pastry Doily die with a solid paper from the Love Letter pad. With my flowers at the top of my card I added Olive Branches by Cheery Lynn Designs. To add a bit of glimmer to my letters I added just a tad of Stickles  - Star Dust

Good Morning

Here's this week's color palette for our weekly challenge at My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette

Beautiful Spring Colors, perfect to cheer you up
on any day, especially during these cold winter months

Here is my take with our Pretty Palette

I use a soft yellow (Barely Banana), a brighter pink (Cameo Coral)
along with the softer pink ( Sweet Blush) for my card base and matting.
I chose a script design paper Acorn Squash from our
My image is from our So Fortunate Digi Stamp set which is colored with Copic R20, YG13,RV35 and highlighted with Y1. Adding stitching around the base, Pearls from my stash and two butterfly using a MS punch. Sweet Blush ribbon, Sentiment is from the So Sentimental acrylic stamp set finishes off my card.

Here's a side view how how I popped the layers using pop dots and the dimension the butterfly have using
two of the punched butterfly together.

My card was inspired by the Deconstructed Sketch 35
