I picked this beautiful image called  Butterfly Flower 

I created a criss cross card with this beautiful image.

Coloring the image with Copic Markers, added some new fun 

Fantage Shaved Ice, beautiful satin ribbon and Mother of Pearls 

For the inside tab I added an sentiment from Create with TLC and a smaller

size of the image.

Using a couple of MS border punches to add a bit of flair to 

the card

You Are My Sunshine

Good Morning  everyone, on this Gorgeous Monday Morning!!

 

Today I have two post so please bear with me as I share my cards for two fun challenge blogs

 

This week's challenge at Love to Create Challenge is Make Your Own Flowers!

So many ways, to create beautiful flower embellishments for your handcrafted projects

Crafty Sentiments is one of our fabulous sponsors this week and I created my card using this sweet image from Crafty Sentiments,

Papers are from Bo Bunny Vicki B Collection which I used to create my flowers using two different products. First I cut three pieces for each flower using a Cheery Lynn Design die then punch the smallest petal from a Snellen punch added a Pebbles Candy dot for the center. Additional punches for the Leaves from a MS punch and Butterflys from another Cheery Lynn die . Can you tell , I discovered my distress tool recently and gave it a good use distressing all the edges for a shabby feel.  Sentiment is from QKR Stamps.

Kraft/Yellow and Brown .. Gorgeous Color Combo

Hello and a Happy Monday to everyone!!!

Today begins a new challenge over at Love to Create Challenge!! This week we are playing with a fun color throw down!

Kraft/Yellow and one other color

We have two fabulous prize from our two sponsors

I chose to create with an image from Robyn's Fetish Designs

Challenging myself to be a bit more creative with a different style card,

I went with a Criss Cross card this week.

My gorgeous image is English Teacup, which I colored with Copic, a used the telescope technique with the roses layering then on top of the orignial one on the teacup.

My choice of my other color is brown - such a beautiful color combo with the Kraft and Yellow.

Designer papers are from DCWV, distressed all paper edges with Powder Puff in Amaretto

Expresso Yourself

Hi There!! Happy Monday!!

WOW - the end of July is just a day away, why oh why does time fly

by so fast these days? In just 15 more days and Hunter will be back in school!!

This summer break is almost over for him and I will be the proud grandma

to a 7th grader!! Oh my!!!

Today's card is my DT card for Love to Create Challenges

This week we have the wonderful images from Fresh Brewed Designs

to create with and let me say Heather has some fabulous designs in her store!!

If you haven't been by to check all the new images she has been releasing then you will definitely want to go take a peek!

Our challenge this week is to "Add a Tag" to your creation

I love this Latte Cup and decided to do a little paper piecing with it!

Basci Grey papers, digital checks paper and embossing folder and it just

all came together for this super sweet card! Sentiment was computer generated and then printed

on to digital paper.

STARS N STRIPES with Love to Create Challenge

Hello my crafty friends, 

Happy July!!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend and stayed cool during the hottest days ever!!! I also want to send a hug out to everyone that was effected by the storm that rolled through on Friday!!! I pray everyone has their power back and are recovering from any damage! Other than a broken patio umbrella and a bit of roof damage (thankful for insurance) we are okay here!

Today I am sharing some inspiration using a couple of cute images from Bugaboo Stamps for our latest challenge at Love to Create challenge blog!

I love these little people Deacon and Ava Baseball from Bugaboo Stamps! 

They were colored up with my Copic (of course) then fussy cut to 

sit on this bench (from Stamp Fairy), I colored in the grass and sky with clouds.

Using some gorgeous papers from Authentique Genuine 6 x6 bundle I 

created my layout by distressing the edges and then inking them with Navy.

 Did you notice I paper pieced the pennant Ava is holding, along with the 

knee patch on Deacon. Added some bling with jewels to the pennant, stars and Star Dust Stickles to Ava's socks and dress trim. Sentiment is from Taylor Expressions, ticket punches were fussy cut from the papers, then distress before adding them to my design. Hope you like .....

 I love Krista's Saturated Canary sweet images with their spunk and sweet details with these adorable girls!

Of course she was colored with Copic and then paired with a few pretty papers from Basic Grey Sweet Threads 6x6 pad. My Banner Flag were made using a Whimsy Stamps die.Also used MS border punch, Prima flowers, PTI Blush ribbon and button, The Twinery twine.

New Challenge over at Love to Create

Good Morning Crafty friends, Yeah it Monday and the beginning of a new week that will be great right?

Well I keep telling myself it will be a good week!!!

Going for a ultra sound on my gallbladder here in a bit

and then a visit to the surgeon this afternoon! joy joy! But at this point 

I am thinking it is a good thing !! Take it Out, I am done dealing with the pain!!!

and clear liquids are just not cutting it! I am hungry!!!

Well since I have to make a card for the old man (hubby) for the grandson's to 

give him, I couldn't resist Gus, one of my favorite characters from Bugaboo Stamps.

Now you know with out me telling you that this is just the way the old fart 

appears to me at times (yes after 42 years- my vision has gotten to be distorted).

Like my sentiment?? hahaaaa - well raising one of our grandsons who I might add 

has a distorted sense of humor like his grandma - thought this was just perfect 

for his dear old papa!!! 

Weather he is in his Superman outfit, work clothes or just hanging out in his recliner

with remote in hand and coffee on the side - he is his hero!!!

For my card I colored this adorable image called Patches Gone Fishing

along with a circle sentiment TS4. Pattern papers are from Echo Park It's a Boys Life, 

The Twinery Mandarin twine, and Pebbles Candy Dots

For my second card I colored this gorgeous image from Digi Darla Designs

This beautiful image is Country Mailbox, I went with a color palette of Minty green, purples and light blue. Green Dotty paper is DCWV from The Chateau Lavender stack, Paper Alice gorgeous handmade paper, Eggplant card stock.  Sentiment is from Crafty Sentiments. I add some beautiful rich purple ribbon (although it looks blue here, IRL it is a gorgeous dark purple), Stardust Stickles to the flower centers, pearls for the finishing touch.

Happy Monday, it's time to share this week's challenge 

at Love to Create Challenges

This week we are showcasing some of the cute images you will find

over at Meljen's Designs!

A huge thank you to Melissa for sending some images over so the 

team could create with them!!

I used  Teeny Mouse Hugs for my card, our theme this week is 

Flowers and Buttons with an optional sketch

As you can see I followed the sketch with just a variation with the sentiment

placement. Going with a pink and brown color scheme, I found this pattern paper in my scrap drawer from Paper Studio (found at your Hobby Lobby), paired with Papertrey Ink  Dark Chocolate and Sweet Blush card stock, Martha Stewart all around punch, and two different heart punches. Ribbon, brad, twine and button from my supplies. As well as the ticket sentiment.
