Love to Create Bingo Challenge

Happy Monday, Today I am sharing my cards for this week's  new challenge over on my challenge blog
Love to Create Challenges

This week the team and I are sharing some inspiration with
images from two of our fabulous sponsor Meljen's Designs and Whoopsi Daisy both
are offering free images of winners choice as prizes this week.

Our challenge theme this week is  a fun one

We have a Bingo Card for you to follow

I created two cards this week using two adorable images from each of our sponsors.

My first card shares this sweet image from Whoopsi Daisy using one of the images from Sheet 370

Today you will notice I am on a yellow kick (not a color I normal go to), but I picked up these
beautiful papers at Michael's last week and what a bargain 12 cents each for 12 x 12 sheets!!  I just love the yellow/grey/white check pattern and then found the yellow dotted paper that matched perfectly!!
I took to paper piecing her dress with the dotted paper, eek what a tedious job that was with all the ruffles, so I cheated a bit and did only the top layer and colored in the second layer. Added some Diamond Dust glitter on the ruffles around her neck, sleeve cuffs and bottom of both layers. Additional products used: paper doily, two different MS leaf punch, Wild Orchid Crafts roses, white lace, Corner edge punch and a sentiment from Create with TLC. For the bingo card I followed the first row down - Lace - Flowers - Doily

For my next card I am sharing one of Meljen's newer releases called Big Sweater Kid.

This image is just too sweet and I fell in love with it the moment I seen it!! I paired him up with some of the yellow dotted papers from above and a sheet from Basic Grey Lime Rickey collection and a piece of scrap green dots. For my design I followed the sketch over on the Sketch Saturday blog .
Additional items used, buttons, twine, Viva Decor Pearl pen, rubber stamp sentiment, tag label die. For the Bingo card I followed the middle row down - stitching-sentiment-die cut.

Hope I have inspired you to come join us at Love to Create Challenge, for a chance to win some fabulous prizes from our two wonderful sponsors!

Meljen's Designs at Whimsy Stamps

Happy Monday

I have a couple of cards to share today with you, both of these images by Meljen's Designs can be found at Whimsy Stamps.

My first card uses Melissa's Cozy Winter Mailbox, which I thought was just adorable and would make a sweet card just to let that special friend know you are thinking of them.

I used the last scraps of this cute Creative Imaginations papers matting on PTI Spring Rain and Chocolate Brown, keeping it clean and simple by adding just  a touch of stitching on the middle panel, sentiment and a bow using PTI Pure Poppy stitched ribbon and of course Crystal Stickles.
This fits into the challenge at I did it Creations challenge - Brrrrr it's turning blue - use blue in your card, Sentimental Sundays challenge - winter and sentiment, Challenge Up Your Life - clean and simple

Now this next card is one that I want to keep next to my computer to remind me that this not so fun winter cold will soon be leaving. Yes, I am so ready for the warmer temps and sunny sky with all the colors returning with the blooming of my Spring flowers.

Meet Johnny Bird Boots, isn't he just the cutest little guy to remind you that Spring will return soon I hope! LOL!

I found these gorgeous papers at my local craft store by American Craft "City Park", the heart one is embossed, sorry I covered it up mostly, but it is just so sweet, pairing it up with PTI Hawaiian Shores and Harvest Gold.
MS border punch, Prima flowers, Dress it up star button, twine, sentiment from Hero Arts clear stamp set, inked in SU ink.

This card fits in with this week's challenge #18 at Beary Sweet Challenge  friendship or love, Fairytale challenge - flowers, Stamp Scrap and Doodles challenge  - anything goes, Craft Your Day Away - anything goes, 2Sisters challenge - flowers

Please stop by on Thursday as I will be sharing some new release images from Whimsy Stamps that you will not want to miss.

Today over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge blog, we have a wonderful sketch to jump start your creativity for this week's challenge. Arlana always comes up with some wonderful sketch that allow you to dress it up or keep it clean and simple. This sketch was a pleasure to work with as you will see I have three cards to share.

This little  Billy cowboy is just adorable and is fun to color, I made him into a little boy's birthday card, with 6 grandsons I know this will come in handy for some one's birthday.

This card uses Holiday Bird which was a freebie last week on Melissa's blog, I really like how it came out with the paper piecing for such a sweet holiday card.

I love this image and have had it for quite some time and thought it was time I finally colored these adorable teddies up. This was a freebie on Meljen's PCP group for 100 members so that tells you how long it has waited for me to play with it. I love this image, look how sweet this turned out. I like to have some cards like this on hand for those times that you just want to lift someone up by telling them that you truly love them. Of course I did this up in those pretty purple and greens,  so I could give it to one of my daughters, as single moms both with two boys each sometimes they need to know that I love and respect them so much.

Please stop over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday's blog and see all the gorgeous cards the design team is sharing, please take a minute and leave them so love.

Please keep Arlana, Nancy and Judi in your thoughts and prayers this week, they will be needing your extra love.

Thanks for visiting, you support keeps me motivated and inspired.
