I used this fabulous Bugaboo image of JJ sharing her holiday spirit. My papers are from My Minds Eye

back ground is the reverse side of the pattern paper. Use my large oval  and scallop dies from Spellbinder

coloring her up with Copic and adding a bit of Stickles for some bling.

Snowflakes punch from a Martha Stewart punch and Glittery candy dots from Pebbles for the centers.

Here is a little bit about the wonderful artist behind these adorable images

My name is Krista Smith.  I am the artist behind the Etsy shop, Saturated Canary Digis.  I began working in the stamping world about a year ago when I was hired to create rubber designs for the sweet Scottish company, Sugar Nellie.  They launched my artwork under the name 'Simply Sassy.'  I moved into the digital world just this past month (it's been a super busy month, indeed!).  And-- I love it!!  There is a little more freedom here, as I can create anything that pops into my head:)!  I am so humbled by the artistic talent of the girls coloring in my designs-- it is truly an inspiration!  Likewise, I am so thankful for the friendships I've made in this wonderful and lovely crafty community!  It's been a true delight!  I'd love for you to stop by my challenge/inspiration blog, Saturated Canary Challenge and join in the fun...And, while you're there, click over to my personal blog (Saturated Canary) and introduce yourself!  I am a bit eclectic and touch on everything from family (I've got me a great one!) to fashion (obsessed!)...Please say 'hi!'...I'd love to be friends!:)

Spidey Time with Sweet Sketch Wednesday

Morning peeps, Happy middle of the week to everyone

Well grandma here is still patiently awaiting for our first granddaughter to make her grand appearance but it looks like she is playing the stubborn routine (at least she comes by that naturally) . Of course mom and grandma are ready but she just isn't not sure why as she couldn't possibly have any room to move her baby finger inside that womb ....... We will be back at the doctors today, so maybe he can persuade her it time to say hello to her grandma.  I will definitely will keep you all updated and of course bore you to tears with all the pics once the little princess decides to greet us!

So on with today's card share ...... It's Wednesday so that means time to share the latest fun sketch over at  Sweet Sketch Wednesday 

This one is sure to get you to be crafty 

Now doesn't this look like a fun sketch - don't let that diamond in the middle fool you, it's quite easy to achieve, simply put a 3 x 3 post it note (or piece of paper) over your image like a diamond and just cut from there.  Works like a charm for me .......

I paired him up with some design papers by Imaginsce that has been waiting forever for me to design with. (bad habit of mine to hoard my pretty papers) :))

I was thrilled to find that this sketch would be a great time to use one of my around the page border punches that I have been neglecting.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch with Sassy Cheryl

Happy Middle of the Week, it's Wednesday and that means a new sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 

We are on sketch #114, this one is a really a fun and easy sketch for keeping your cards more on the CAS

As you know, I love to add layers to my cards, this week I really went with the CAS look with this adorable image from Sassy Cheryl I was able to play with!

I had purchased this fun papers from Creative Imagination and knew that it would be perfect 

with not only this image but with keeping it very simple as I interpreted the sketch to be. The polka dots are one side of the paper and then on the backside was the adorable design strips with all these cute buttons.

I simply used PTI Enchanted Evening and Terra Cotta card stock for my base, added  the designer papers and then cut  three of the larger buttons out with a SU circle punch, glazed them with Liquid Glass and popped them on as my embellishments.

I love the way this turned out and for a super easy and quick card which allows the adorable Sassy Cheryl " Gift of a Flower" image to really stand out among the card. She is layered on a Spellbinders large Blossom die and Large Circle die.
