Sweet Sketch Wednesday with Meljens Designs

Hi friends and a Happy Middle of the week,

These long holiday weekends always throw me off  the following week, just doesn't seem like it should be Wednesday to me. But I am happy it is 1) it's time for a new challenge sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and 2) means the weekend is that much closer. :)

We have another FABULOUS sketch this week, not sure how Arlana does this but each week the sketches just keep getting more fun to play with. This week's is one  more to add to my favorites.

Our wonderful sponsor this week is Meljen's Designs, and one lucky person will be the winner of 4 digis of their choice from the many adorable images Meljen's Designs has in their store. Now that is one great prize!!

Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical digital images inspired by her kids and family. The Meljen's Designs store officially launched on April 1 and is steadily grownng! Meljen's Designs has new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, freebies every Monday and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Design Blog. Please visit the Meljen's Designs line of stamps at the WHIMSY STAMPS STORE to browse and enjoy Melissa's wonderful images.

Here is my card with this week's sketch and the cute and irresistible Skiing Mouse from Meljen's Designs.
My design paper is from a year ago and is by Blue Sky Design - Snowball Fight, I paired it with SU Perfect Plum and Tempting Turquoise, I colored this little guy with Copic and used a Sakura Gelly Clear pen for his ski poles, the ice cube was out lined with BG10 then covered with Crystal Effects and then  I sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds on top while wet to get the wet shimmery effect, the ribbon and snowflake buttons are from my craft bin, paired with MS snowflake punch.

here is a close up pic of the ice cube

Please stop over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog to see all of the gorgeous cards the design team created using these adorable whimsical images by Meljen's Designs. They are sure to get you motivated to get crafty and with this fabulous sketch Arlana has given us, you are sure to be creative.

Thanks for visiting, I appreciate your support and love reading your comments.
Have a sweet and crafty Wednesday.

Hugz
Jackie.

Hi Jackie I just love your card, great colours and those snowflakes I love them and want them haven't seen them in NZ. I laughed when I saw your card, Deanne's and mine. It's like 3 Blind Mice see how they ski, 1 small one, 1 skinny one and 1 fat one same image and all three cards are so different. I love them!!!
Take care
