 Wooohooo it's time to share our goodies from Simply Betty's Summerween Swap!!

A group of us Simply Betty fans get together every so often and do a fun theme swap

Zombie Babe's Digis with Word Art!

Happy Tuesday!!

It's back to a normal schedule today after having a wonderful 3 day weekend!!

Saturday did some running around with the hubs and Hunter picking up odds & ends

we needed to get a few things done around the house!! Good fun times, together

with a little bit of fun trash talking between Papa & Grandson!! equates to a 

Grandma trying to drive while laughing so hard it hurt!!

Sunday my two oldest daughters and I took off for the day to 

Stream Cliff Farm Tearoom and Winery 

Had an Awesome lunch with my girls, browsing the gardens, green houses, and land before wine tasting! What a gorgeous day and wonderful company!!' 

Lots of fun, great laughs, beautiful plants and great wine!!

Monday it was suppose to be just a day of rest, no plans then 

I decided to get the grocery shopping done, which probally wasn't the 

wisest decision I could of made, but did manage to fit in with the crowd !!

Grill steaks & salad for dinner and enjoyed the gorgeous weather on the patio!! 

As a Memorial day special Betty at Simply Betty Stamps 

released a new artist and line to her store!!

Of course I wasn't going to pass up an opportunity to support her 

new artist, her son Christian and no disappointment with the wonderful

Simply Betty Fanpage Challenge with Fortune Teller Betty

Another fabulous challenge this month on Simply Betty's fan page on Facebook

Betty created two fabulous images for this challenge, you had your pick on requesting one for free 

and the second one you could purchase here

Here is Betty Fortune Teller 

Isn't she a wonderful image? I paired her up with some Halloween papers by Making Memories

layering with yellow and purple card stock. The challenge to follow for Fortune Teller Betty was 

to use Diamond Glaze and rhinestones on your project.

I covered the cyrstal ball and cards with Diamond Glaze and add rhinestone border to my ribbon,

and some rhinestone swirls.

This picture doesn't show the Diamond Glaze very well, but it is there!! 

Nothing like waiting till the last minute to make my cards, although both images have been colored since the first of the month, it's been one busy and crazy month around here!!

Simply Betty Fan Page Challenge

I played along in the Simply Betty's Fan page Challenge this month, two fabulous images

this month Betty created for us fans!!

My first card is Voodoo Corinne 

The challenge was to use this super image of our lovely Corinne and add pins 

Although her hair looks yellowish in this picture, it really is a orange/red in real life

I added 3 different decorated stick pins and the sentiment Betty included with the image.

I paired her with Toil & Trouble design paper by Making Memories

Back to School with Simply Betty

Hello, Happy  Monday!!  

Today I am sharing my cards for this week's  new challenge over on my challenge blog

Love to Create Challenges

The team and I are so excited to share some inspiration
with images from Simply Betty Stamps !!

Betty generously allowed each DT to chose an image to create with and I picked this 
adorable Chalkboard Ali  from the Jude and the Rockers Playtime collection 

Going with a Primary color scheme and some fun Elementary Spelling Bee design papers by Simple Stories 

I also inked up this month's new Avocado Arts Clear Stamps "You Rule" using the sweet notebook paper, crayon and one of the sentiments in the set! 

One of my designers stated she looked like Rainbow Brite, which I admit yes she does but not the feel I was going with LOL!!!

For my star holding Chalkboard Ali, I simply used Word shapes to create 

a size and shape star I wanted and then printed onto card stock and hand cut.

Of course after receiving Chalkboard Ali and loving Simply Betty's stamps I 

had to pick up this fab image as well!!

Christian Locker Mess  

Perfect digi for one of the boys to give to their teacher!!!

To keep with a masculine touch I paired Christian Locker Mess with TPC Studio School Days Science designer paper. I created a tag which I add some stamps marks to along with a computer gernerate sentiment of Superstar -Yes that's what you are.

Christian Locker Mess also comes with the cool sentiment "I am here What More Do You Want?"

Stars were made by using Word inserts and enlarging to the size and shape I wanted

Simply Betty Fan Facebook Challenge

Hello everyone!

 It is challenge time again on the Simply Betty Stamps Facebook fan page group. 

This month it is the good versus evil challenge and we had our choice of mermaids to complete the challenge. I chose Spika the Bad Mermaid to play along in the challenge. But I couldn't resist picking up Roxie the good Mermaid as well and hope to get her finished up here this week.

I think I used almost every one of my Copic color family with her, such fun!!

I added Some Odd Girl  background Reef with her for a bottom of the ocean scene.
