Digital Delights Thursday Showcase

Hello and a Happy Thursday to everyone!!

It's showcase Thursday at Digital Delights !!!

Today I am sharing two of the adorable images you can find in the store for Digital Delights New December release!

First is this adorable little gal called Donita and Tree

She is as sweet as can be and so fun to color up!!
I used some left over papers I found in my scrap basket that are from Paper Studio. Cut by hand Donita and her tree and then placed her on top of a embossed background. I paper pieced her dress and added Stickles Stardust to her lace, bodice and socks. I also coated the Angel ontop of the tree with Stickles and Ruby Slippers Stickles for the tree garland.
Ribbon is American Craft and the red hear button I purchased at my local Joann's.

Next is my card from last week that I completely forgot to post on Thursday (working 58 hours my brain was fried come Thursday), but wanted to share with you since it is another one of the  sweetest image in this new release!
Sadie S'More

Papers are all DCWV Holiday pack, Lil Miss Sadie is colored up with Copics. My sentiment is from the Christmas sentiment collection.

Digital Delight Showcase Thursday

Hi all you crafty friends, Happy Thursday!!
It's showcase Thursday at Digital Delights !!! Today the team is sharing some inspiration using some of the New November Release images.

The team is gearing up for the Holidays with these adorable images Wendy created just for you !!

This week I decided to share how great and fun using some of the digital papers
and sentiments can be.

I created a very quick and easy gift set for that special co-worker or neighbor
Using the Sparkle and Magic Digital papers in Snowflake and one of the beautiful sentiments
from the Magical Sentiment collection.
This cute gift box is just big enough to hold those o'so yummy Ghirardelli Choclate squares
perfectly - of course I picked my favorite Milk Chocolate with Carmel. For my card I went with a
4.5x4.5 size using the digital papers and sentiment. Add just a few layers of border punches, ribbon, mini pearls and Doodlebug Sugar glitter around the edge of the sentiment.

Digital Delights Lolly Ginger

Hi !, Happy Thursday!!
It's showcase Thursday at Digital Delights !!! Today  I am sharing an adorable image from our October release.

This adorable image is Lolly Ginger!!
Such a sweet image to use your Copic Markers with!
To begin my card, I printed some Digital papers from three different collections
My back ground papers are from our newest collection Baubles & Trees, I used the Red trees. Then I chose the Red stripes from Candy Cane Lane Digital paper pack and Red spots from the Rainbow Digital paper pack. Added some machine stitching, a border punch and yummy ribbon then cut some snowflakes from a die, and it's hard to see but I then cut 3 candy wrapper from a punch on to actate and add a cicle from the red stripe papers to make little StarMints candies which I pop dotted on top of each snowflake!! Added some glitter to the candy pieces and Stickles Rock Candy to Lolly's lollipop!

I'm so grateful

Hello and a happy Thursday to everyone,

Well school has officially began, although I will miss having the grandsons over to spend a couple of days with me each week, I am looking forward to having my time alone. I was totally out of sorts yesterday, while  shopping by myself but after the second store I was really liking the feeling .... *LOL*

Today I am sharing my weekly card for Digital Delights by Louby Loo using a few  of the new August releases.

For my card I begin by printing out a couple of the new Simply Fall Digital Papers (Autumn Leaves and Autumn Leaves White) pairing them up with PTI Harvest Gold and Brown, ran sewing machine stitches around each and then layered Fall Accessory Sunflower Background which I colored with my Copics adding in the cloud and sky. Each of the sunflowers have a touch of Cinnamon Stickles added to the center. Wrapped twine around twice then secured using one of the Fall Sentiments.

A very simple clean line card that will work well for most occasions.

Thanks for looking, will be back tomorrow with another fun card!

For the boutique sign I cut the Born to Shop sentiment down to fit and then added Dazzling Diamonds around the scallops. Vicky's dress has Stardust Stickles around her lace for a bit of bling, Sunglasses were colored with a Glitter gelly roll pen, cell phone is colored with a gelly roll metallic pen.

Digital Delights 'August Release are in the store

Happy Thursday friends,

It's the first Thursday of August and that means the new August images from Digital Delights by Louby Loo are available!!

Oh my wait till you see these sweet new images, simply adorable
and so many wonderful creations to make with them!!

Today I am sharing the new Fall Kids - Fall boy but can't wait to play with all of the new images for this month

You really will want to hop over to the store to see all of the images
in this new release.

Here's my card using Fall Boy from the Fall Kids collection

If you know me, then you know I don't shy away from those adorable little boys
and this one will melt your heart!!

I called this card Picking Apples, since I paired him up with this beautiful embossed and glittered paper from Craft n Craftin  Best Creation Inc   Autumn Splendor.
Now this hear is what I would see if I took anyone of my boys out to pick apples - them sitting watching the others pick those apples.
My background paper which I thought was perfect with the embossed apple design paper is Bella Blvd  "Sophisticates"

I wanted to keep this card on the clean side not too much embellishments as he is just so adorable and needed to be the center of attention
Of course he is colored with Copics and then I used SU Sky Blue and Creamy Carmel to sponge around to fill in the outer parts of the image.
Using my MS fence punch to add a bit of dimension behind the image, I then completed it with wrapping PTI twine around the bottom and added a big button (crafty stash).

I hope my card inspires you to head over to Digital Delights store, don't forget to stop over to the our main blog as the design team has a lot of inspiration that will get you to want all of the August images.
