New sketch with Sweet Sketch Wednesday

Hello friends,

I think I am ready for some warm weather, and no more snow!!! We just received 7 more inches of snow yesterday, and it is still coming down.  It's pretty but it's cold and I am not looking forward to shoveling the walkway and driveway again today. I think I am ready for Spring to arrive.

Now enough of my complaining, let's move right on to the new sketch this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday, as it is one you are going to want to try this week. Arlana has done it again and has designed another fantastic sketch with lots of layers.

We also have a brand new sponsor joining us this week.

StampFairy is a fairly new company, owned by Gerda who creates cute and whimsical designs for the young and old.
Take a moment and swing over to StampFairy's store as I know you are going to find lots of cute, sweet images to play with.
Gerda is offering 4 images to one lucky winner of this challenge - now that is one great prize!

Here is my card using the newly release Lenny Bee
You can find Lenny here in the store

Can you tell I am so ready for warm sunny days, by my card? Basic Grey June Bug paper pack just screams Sunny warm days and lot of buzzing bee's flying about.

I hope you will join us this week, Arlana's sketch are always fun to create with.
Take a minute or two and check out all the adorable cards the team is sharing for more inspiration over on Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge

Hi Jackie, Lenny is just so cute and I just love your bright colours used. I do know where that's coming from, I bet your over the snow now, it's fine for a little while and then you've had enough. Where we live it doesn't get cold enough for snow but we do get frosts in the winter as well as the rain...give me frosts anyday. Love your card.
Take care

Hi Jackie, You asked about a simple quilt pattern. The best thing to do when finding a pattern for quilting is to find one that will let you sew long straight lines when you are finishing the quilt. If you look on So Berry Sweet, I posted the one the girls made for me. This is really a simple pattern to sew because you are doing the finishing work in the small blocks. (Even though it has a million pieces, it isn't as hard as it looks) "Time" is the key when putting them together. Sometimes they can take a month or two to complete.

Jackie, this bee bear is the cutest image ever! And you created this card to really show him off! You have made me want that zigzag circle punch! Your papers and ribbon and button are the perfect embellishments. What a cute way to do your sentiment! Not sure what punch it is but it makes a perfect tag for your sentiment! Loved the sponsorship with Stamp Fairy this week!

Love, love, love this! Your circles just are perfect looking like sunflowers with those fun papers. A totally genious idea there and so wonderfully complements this darling Lenny image. Love the sentiment too - very clever!

Sharon
