Sweet Sketch Wednesday and Meljen's Design

Today over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge blog, we have a wonderful sketch to jump start your creativity for this week's challenge. Arlana always comes up with some wonderful sketch that allow you to dress it up or keep it clean and simple. This sketch was a pleasure to work with as you will see I have three cards to share.

Our fabulous sponsor for this week's prize is Melissa with Meljen's Designs

I love to color and create with Melissa's cute and whimsical designs, they are always so inspiring and I truly enjoy designing my cards with her images.

Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical digital images inspired by her kids and family. The Meljen's Designs store officially launched on April 1 and is steadily growing! Meljen's Designs has new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, freebies every Monday and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Design Blog. Please visit the Meljen's Designs line of stamps at the Whimsy Stamp Store to browse and  enjoy Melissa's wonderful images!

This little  Billy cowboy is just adorable and is fun to color, I made him into a little boy's birthday card, with 6 grandsons I know this will come in handy for some one's birthday.

This card uses Holiday Bird which was a freebie last week on Melissa's blog, I really like how it came out with the paper piecing for such a sweet holiday card.

I love this image and have had it for quite some time and thought it was time I finally colored these adorable teddies up. This was a freebie on Meljen's PCP group for 100 members so that tells you how long it has waited for me to play with it. I love this image, look how sweet this turned out. I like to have some cards like this on hand for those times that you just want to lift someone up by telling them that you truly love them. Of course I did this up in those pretty purple and greens,  so I could give it to one of my daughters, as single moms both with two boys each sometimes they need to know that I love and respect them so much.

Please stop over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday's blog and see all the gorgeous cards the design team is sharing, please take a minute and leave them so love.

Please keep Arlana, Nancy and Judi in your thoughts and prayers this week, they will be needing your extra love.

Thanks for visiting, you support keeps me motivated and inspired.

Hi Jacki =) Cute card!! I just saw it at Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog. I'm so silly--still behind as I just posted a card today using last week's sketch! LOL - and it's even called "Sweet Sketch WEDNESDAY" ... Duh! LOL> I'm so not myself this week. LOVED all the DT's cards over there though. So fun and tons of inspiration =) Have a great week.
