H for Halloween

Hello, Happy  Monday!!  

Today I am sharing my cards for this week's  new challenge over on my challenge blog

Love to Create Challenges

Our theme for this week's challenge is

Halloween

I gave a try to this new card technique "bendi fold"
and let me say it is definitely challenging when you use a lot of 
layers - word to the wise less layer for this one as you tab slits
will work a whole lot easier!!
But it was fun and did get me to be a bit creative with resizing 
parts of my background image Barry Spooky Bats by Stamp Fairy
as I re-sized the moon and the bats to use as additional embellishments.
I also intertwined two of my MS border punches that don't get a lot of attention by adding the graveyard punch with the picket fence. Little Barry Halloween was covered in lots of shimmery glitter to off set all the brown tones within my card.

Love to Create Challenge Pumpkins Everywhere

Hello friends, Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!!!

 

Mine was great and now ready to face a wild week ahead!! It's going to be a busy one for me!!!

This week we continue to create fun and fabulous Fall/Halloween creations with two fabulous sponsors. Our theme is Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere!!

But before you skip on over let me share my fun creation using some cute images from Crafty Sentiments!

 

I used two images from Crafty Sentiments, the ghost called Holloween and the tombstone RIP!

My papers are from My Mind's Eye Black Bird!

I used the sweet sketch #74 from Deconstucting Jen

 

 

To finish my creations I added a Hollow Tree Die by Cheery Lynn Designs, pearls from Want2Scrap

and pumpkin images from Stamp Fairy.

 

Halloween Gift bag for Aud Sentiments Challenge

Here to share a little Halloween Gift bag I created for Aud Sentiments Challenge.

Sorry I didn't take a close up shot of her but she is just precious.

 

Having two little ones who will be doing their first trick and treating they had to have a

special little bag for all their goodies!!

I am showcasing Mimi Winter 1, isn't she just adorable!!

My fun paper is My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Portobello Toad "Buddies"

which I paired with cream card stock, added some cream lace and a pale blue velvet bow!

Flowers were created using the smallest die from Spellbinders Poinsetta set, nipping each petal, distressing the edges then adding a rose bud in the middle. Corner lace was created using a

Lace corner die by Cheery Lynn Designs

Winter Fun with Barry!!

Happy Friday !!!!!

 

Are you ready for a long weekend? I know us here in the USA are looking forward

to our long weekend with most businesses closed on Monday in honor of Labor Day!

 

I don't have any special plans other then to stay home, relax and enjoy my time off playing with

some crafty stuff!!

 

Today is a new release over at Stamp Fairy

Gerda is gearing up for the winter months and has brought us a new collection of

our favorite Teddy Bear Barry!!

I am not so eager for the winter chill or the fluffy white stuff like Barry is, but I have to

Halloween Mimi and her skull

Hello and A Happy Friday to All!!!

 

I for one am very happy to see Friday  and even more happier to know the weekend is that much closer!!! No big plans other than to do all that fun stuff of cleaning and laundry but you best beleive that will be done quickly but throughly so I can spend some quiet time down in my craft cave LOL!!

 

So today brings us another new release over at Stamp Fairy and of course this new collection will be another one of my favorites - with this sweet little gal Mimi!!

 

I am so happy with this being my very first Halloween card for 2012 and couldn't have picked a sweeter image then this little gal!

Of course having two little girls in our family now, this collection will be seeing alot of use from me, I think each one of these new images are simply adorable!

 

I have had this design paper now for ages and love how the skull in the paper matched

the one Mimi is holding!! Plus its the perfect design for a girly Halloween card.

So yes, I had to go with the wider ribbon and big bow along with the cute little skull brad I found in my stash!!!

It a Happty Harvest Time at Stamp Fairy

Hello and a Very Happy Friday to everyone!!

It's been one of those weeks, a very long one for me!!

I am looking forward to this weekend for some fun time, having lunch with

a sweet friend tomorrow , then some school shopping for Hunter!!

Sunday, my plan is to kick back and relax!

What's are your plans??

Today I am sharing another fabulous collection of Mimi our newest addition to the Stamp Fairy Family. This little gal just brings a smile, love those  pig tails!!!

We are getting geared up for Fall at Stamp Fairy and this collection

has the perfect images for some sweet Fall/Harvest creations!!!

Mimi has a paper pieced dress and then I used the freebie pumpkin and

created my background. I sized the two pumpkins a bit different to give

the appearance of a pumpkin patch!

My perfect papers are from Bella Blvd "At the Patch" along with a swiss dot paper I found

in my scrap basket.

To finish my design, I add some wide ribbon, buttons, twine and a sentiment

Sweet Sketch Wednesday with Stamp Fairy

Happy 4th of July!!!

I am so excited to share that Stamp Fairy is sponsoring Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week!!

For me being a DT with Stamp Fairy this was a chance for me to play with my friends over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! Hi Ladies, sure do miss you all!!

It's been a while since I stepped down from the SSW design team (which I greatly miss), and haven't had the opportunity to play along with them!! (I know shame on me!!)

Here is the sketch for this week's challenge

Here's my inspiration ...............

I used this sweet new released called "Hugo" and paired him up 

with some fun Echo Park papers.   He is just precious so I left him white with a tracing of cool grey to highlight! Added some stitched ribbon and a small rosette with my sentiment

I really am happy with how this turned out CAS but with a touch of pop with the rosette.

I am Over the Moon for You

Hi, hope you are having a great start to your weekend,

Here's a cute card I made for my Guest Designer spot with Craft Your Days Away Challenge #48

Their theme for this challenge is Teddy Bears, 

sweet, cute, cuddly Teddy Bears.

For my card I used the ever so sweet Barry Bear from Stamp Fairy!

Stamp Fairy stamps is this week's sponsor, perfect shop to find all the cute and cuddly Teddy Bears!!

I used Barry Moon  who is colored using Copic and then

added lots of fine clear glitter and a bit of Waterfall Stickles for his wings.

Such a cute image for a new baby card, baptism or even for a 1st Birthday.

For the inside I glittered up the free image offered with the Barry Moon collection

A Sparkly Birthday

Hello, a Happy Tuesday to everyone!!

Here's a cheery birthday card I made for Top Tip Tuesday's challenge this week!

Their theme continues for their second week of their challenge with

"Sparkles Galore" (diamond jubilee) 

Stamp Fairy stamps is the sponsor for this challenge !! 

They asked for GDT from our design team and I jumped once again to 

play along with them!! Always a fun challenge and awesome tips can be 

found every Tuesday at Top Tip Tuesday!!

I colored up our cute little Barry Birthday Occasion using Barry with #1

Both his hat streamers and number were covered with SU Dazzling Diamonds

for a beautiful sparkle. The dots on his hat were smothered with Stickles Star Dust for a bit more bling!! 

The Wow comes when you open up the card and the presents pop up! I  This was so easy to make and I now am in  LOVE with pop up cards.
