Digital Delights by Louby Loo Feburary Release

hello, I hope everyone is fine and managed to make it through the nasty storm that came through the states on Tuesday evening. I know some of my teamies really received the major portion of the storm with the high winds and the blizzard of a snow storm. I was keeping everyone in my prayers as it was bad here but nothing like in other areas.
Well hopefully Mother Nature will end the winter like a lion and bring in Spring with a lamb.

So are you ready to see what's new at Digital Delights by Louby Loo?? Let me tell you we have a fun -tastic and  adorable new images for you this month. So be sure to swing over to the home blog of Digital Delights to see all of the new images that the team is showcasing for you today!!

Both set come in black and white or full colored versions which are great  for those times that you need to put a card together quickly.

I only have one of the new images I am sharing today with you, but as the days go on I will be sharing more, so you definitely will want to check out the home blog to see all of them in action.

I used Moonwalk Billy for my card today, isn't he just adorable? I know this little guy will be getting a lot of use here in my house, having 6 grandsons  and 4 of them 12 years and under. Billy will be making a lot of little birthday boys smile.

For my layout I used an older sketch from Pixie Cottage #53, I colored Billy with Copic and then used the Flag from the Blast Off accessories and cut it out to add to Billy so he could placed it on the moon. Ok I am going to show my age here, but when I was making this card I kept thinking about the first moon landing of the apollo 11 mission in 1969! Neil Armstrong being the first man to set foot on the moon with his flag. The Happy Birthday is also from the accessory set as well. I filled the letters in with Glitter gel pens
If you look close up you can see I used Crystal Effects for his face mask to give it the glass effect, sponged Sky Blue ink around to give the sky feeling and of course add my own chip board stars I covered with some scraps, SU Certainly Celery twill ribbon and little candy dots from Michael's.

I did finish the inside of the card but must not of taken a picture, the inside is completed with the same papers and stars and the Blast Off sentiment from the accessory set!!

This set is just a must have, there are so many different kinds of themes you could use it for, birthdays, thinking of you, get well and would even make a darling  Congrats card. "You did it" theme.

Our challenge team has a new challenge for you today too,  and it fits in perfectly with Billy Blast Off  the theme being

Come Fly with Me
(anything that fly)
