I created two cards this week using two adorable images from each of our sponsors.
My first card shares this sweet image from Whoopsi Daisy using one of the images from Sheet 370
Today you will notice I am on a yellow kick (not a color I normal go to), but I picked up these
beautiful papers at Michael's last week and what a bargain 12 cents each for 12 x 12 sheets!! I just love the yellow/grey/white check pattern and then found the yellow dotted paper that matched perfectly!!
I took to paper piecing her dress with the dotted paper, eek what a tedious job that was with all the ruffles, so I cheated a bit and did only the top layer and colored in the second layer. Added some Diamond Dust glitter on the ruffles around her neck, sleeve cuffs and bottom of both layers. Additional products used: paper doily, two different MS leaf punch, Wild Orchid Crafts roses, white lace, Corner edge punch and a sentiment from Create with TLC. For the bingo card I followed the first row down - Lace - Flowers - Doily
For my next card I am sharing one of Meljen's newer releases called Big Sweater Kid.
This image is just too sweet and I fell in love with it the moment I seen it!! I paired him up with some of the yellow dotted papers from above and a sheet from Basic Grey Lime Rickey collection and a piece of scrap green dots. For my design I followed the sketch over on the Sketch Saturday blog .
Additional items used, buttons, twine, Viva Decor Pearl pen, rubber stamp sentiment, tag label die. For the Bingo card I followed the middle row down - stitching-sentiment-die cut.
