Sleepy Time Barry Gift Set

Happy TGIF friends,

Looking forward to the weekend and having some fun times with the family.

Today I am sharing a gift set, using the newly released Barry Bedtime image 

from Stamp Fairy, this little guy is adorable as always and I thought he would

make a sweet Christmas card 

Barry is ready to snuggle down for the night and looking at him I think about one of my forever favor poems at Christmas 

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

My papers are all from my new pad of Authentique Bundle collection Wonder. For the fur on Barry's hat I used some beige flocking.

With this poem running through my head - I created a sentiment 

for the inside of my card 

My gift box is a candy box I snagged when a local ice cream shop went out of business

this past summer-  This will hold some homemade fudge for my gift to someone special.

I altered the box my covering it with some more of this beautiful 

papers by Authentique - Wonder collection.

using my border punches, lace and ribbon to give it a down home feeling.

Prisma Poinsettia on the lid and a paper and metal charm attached with twine

to finish it.
