Lollipop sweetness with a color challenge

Hi and a Chilly morning to ya,

I just about froze going out to wince the newspaper off the driveway this morning, it's down right cold out there.

I was able to spend some time in my craft room yesterday after we came home from my husband's nephew's memorial services. It was good to be able to relax and let my mind rest while I kept my hands busy. Much needed after the long week I had.

By Lori designs has their first challenge up and going and I was hoping to play along to support the new challenge blog. Have you been over to her store, oh my she has it stocked with some real cuteness let me tell you.  I decided to create my card using Ella from the Lollipop line  you can find her here in the store along with lots more adorable images.

The first challenge is a fun one , it is a color challenge using some beautiful colors at that.

 Here is my take with these beautiful colors using Ella and some of my favorite Basic Grey papers from Green at Heart.

Isn't she just sooooooo sweet!? I just love her to pieces and enjoyed coloring her, she is the closest to a little girl I have to dress up and play with. teehee

Having six grandsons doesn't allow for any of the frills.

I used I{heart}to Stamp sketch for my layout, and dressed her up a bit with some Stardust Stickles on her socks and polka dots, adding mini blush pearls along my MS lace border punch, then for the finishing touch I layered 2 Prima flowers and a crochet mini flower and top it with a Doodlebug glittery candy dot. The tag I found among my stash and used a Gina K - Just so Hippy sentiment.
