Cutie Pie Rosie Recipe book

Hi and Happy Thursday or at least I am going to pretend since they are calling for a snow storm and we are looking to get 6 inches if not a few more before the day is over...... Needless to say it's not the kind of weather I have been wishing for.

But on a Happy Note, I did promise I would share my first DT project with Digital Delights by Louby Loo with you today!! I am so happy to be a part of this fantastic team of crafters and Wendy is just amazing and oh so talented!!! Whew I am going to have so much fun playing with Digital Delights' images!!!

I am sharing one of the new release images for January, Cutie Pie Rosie . Have you seen the cute and sweet Ridley, or Lara and Larry all dressed up for Valentines?
You can see all the new images over in the store.
Would you like to see a preview of all the new releases each month when they are released? Then sign up for the Digital Delights by Louby Loo Newsletters (you can find the sign up on the blog sidebar)

New to the store is digital papers, I have to say these are fabulous,  fun and easy to create with.

Ok, on to my project ( sorry but I am so excited and want to share all the fun Digital Delights have to offer).

For my project like I said eariler I use the sweet image of Cutie Pie Rosie
you can find her here in the store.
Instead of a card, I decided to alter a small 8x8 photo album as a Recipe Binder using Cutie Pie Rosie for my cover. This binder will now hold 8x8 recipe cards and i think makes a great way to welcome a new neighbor to the neighbor hood, or even for a small gift for a bride to be.

Some recipe pages I added as a starter for my binder

sorry for the bit of glare with the pics but I left the recipe pages inside the plastic sleeves of the book

All papers are SU pattern papers, PTI Pure Poppy and Ripe Avocado card stock

Then I couldn't stop playing with this sweet image so I made a tag to go along with the Recipe Binder

Rosie is colored with Copic and then added a bit of Ruby Slippers and Stardust Stickles to her hearts and lace. Martha Stewart corner punch for the decorative corners, SU circle stamp and computer generated sentiment banner

Thanks for visiting,  be sure to swing on over to Digital Delights blog to see what the other gals have created and are sharing today.

I will be back next Thursday with more Digital Delight sweetness. In the mean time if you challenges, then check out Digital Delights weekly challenges  here  Every Wednesday the challenge team offers up a new challenge with a chance to win lots of fun prizes.

I did find a few challenges that my Recipe Binder will fit into;

Fab n Funky - animal magic
Penny's Paper-Crafty - anything goes
Oldie but a Goodie - bright and cheerful
Craft Your Day Away - Anything goes
