Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge #82

Happy Wednesday!!
It's time for a new sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and I must say this one is another fun one that will definitely inspire your creative side.

Jodie with Bugaboo Stamps is our fabulous sponsor this week.  Jodie has a huge selection of images to chose from. with new releases each Tuesday and Friday.  Looking for a special image than be sure to check out the store as she offers images from cute adorable critters and little people to the humorous Gus and Mildred.

As our sponsor this week, Jodie is generously offering 7 images of your choice to one lucky winner. That's a rockin $21 value!!!
So please follow all the rules to be sure you are in the draw for this Awesome Prize!

Now that Christmas is here and gone, I am now scrambling around the stores for birthday gifts ... I have 4 in the next two weeks. Hunter's (our grandson we raise) is this Thursday and he is making it easy for me as all he wants is gift cards. We are having a family dinner and then planning a big paint ball party for his friends in the middle of January as it seems to work better for most if we wait till after the holidays. Poor guy seems he really gets the short end every year. Then I have my daughter's next week and then hubby's, our 6 yrs old grandson's and our 39th anniversary all within 3days the following week. It's two weeks of non-stop parties!!

I couldn't resist  the opportunity to create a card with one of my favorites Bugaboo character Gus for my DT card this week. As I mention, my very dear but extremely grouchy hubby is having a birthday (he so reminds me of Gus) and of course Hunter is in need of a card for this big occasion, as the old man is hitting the big 60 here!!

I kept my card pretty simple, as Grandpa just wouldn't appreciate all the extras as he is basically a very simple man!

Then Hunter and I came up with the sentiment for the inside!

I so glad you stop by to visit and I hope you got a little of a chuckle with my card. Jump on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday's  challenge blog to visit with the rest of the design team for more sweet cards using some more Bugaboo images today.
I hope you will join us this week, as I would love to stop by to visit.

Thank you to each for your love, support and words of encouragement through out the year. May You have a very safe and Happy New Year!!

~Hugs~

Oh Jackie, I hope your husband laughs when he gets this card. I am still laughing.....What a great birthday card. I know what you mean by your grandson getting the shaft so close to Christmas. My grand-daughters b-day is on the 20th of Dec. It is the same way for her. Anyway have a great time with the parties the next few weeks. And, Happy early Anniversary!!!

Hi Jackie!
Just the cutest card and a perfect sentiment inside. My Mom's birthday is the 3rd and my son's is the 9th so I know what you're preparing for right now! I always try to make my Mom's birthday a big deal because it's so close to the holidays. In fact, I was just shopping with her this afternoon - just some Mom/Daughter time that is so much fun. Great card and good luck with all your celebrations! Wishing you the happiest New Year!
Hugs,
Sharon

Oh Linda, this is such a fun card for your husband's birthday. I love the bright colors and the added X stitching. You and Hunter came up with the perfect sentiment too. I also have a son whose birthday is just before Christmas and it seems like he has always been slighted just a little in the celebration end of things! Have fun in all your celebrations! And congrats on your 39th anni! I'm just four years behind you! We had ours just a few day before Christmas!
