Think Pink with Tuesday Morning Sketches

Good Morning and a Happy Tuesday!!

Melissa has another fabulous sketch for us today and a bit of a twist to go along with the sketch! As we all know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and with this we would love to see some pink in your cards.

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, so early detection is the key to surviving the disease. Studies show that a healthy lifestyle can prevent breast cancer. Be proactive by maintaining a healthy weight, exercising and limiting alcohol intake. As a mother of a 5 year Breast Cancer Survivor, this is a cause that is very close to my heart!
I can't begin to tell you what a mother goes through when your healthy 32 year old daughter, single mother to two wonderful boys, comes home one day to tell you she has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. We just celebrated her 5 year mark this past week, what a blessing it is to have my daughter with us today!!

Our own team mate Theresa just celebrated her 3 year Cancer Free Mark recently and that is another  blessing I am so thankful for.

In honor of Theresa and my daughter Jenn here is my card using this week's sketch

Our wonderful Sponsor this week is Bee Crafty and I used Whimsical Girl on my card.
Bee Crafty offers a fabulous selection of wonderful images, go check out the store for some super sweet images to create with.

I hope you join us this week and help us spread the pink love throughout blog land.
Have a beautiful day and take a moment to do a self exam, schedule that appointment.
Show your love to those fighting this ugly monster.
To all that have fought or is fighting!! NEVER GIVE UP!
~Hugs~

Sweet card with gorgoues DPs -- how perfect to add an embossed grid for the design element! The ticket is such a wonderful touch to support the theme, too!!
