Hi, hope you are having a great day. Mind as been a busy one as I have been trying to catch up on some much needed house cleaning and laundry. I have had my youngest grandson for the past three days which is a joy for me as he is as sweet as can be but..... at 10 months old he can sure be a busy little guy and his army crawl has got to break some speed records somewhere. I am sure he could lend a few pointers to all the service men out there on how to get the movements down on moving faster than lighting on your belly. heehee! I have nicknamed him Curious George as he is intrigued with everything, from the door hinges to whats behind kitchen cabinets doors, oh I can't forget how much fun toilets are to play in, even when you get those baby fingers smashed numerous times trying to lift the lid. Then there are the stairs, once he found how to master the first step the next couple were a piece of cake. So needless to say - Grandma here didn't get much of anything accomplished the last few days except a few heart attacks when he took a couple of nose dives, and when he tried to stick his fingers in the electrical outlets. Oh the joys of being a grandma... so worth the dirty house and the piled up laundry. :)
I wanted to quickly share a card I made using this week's fun digital image that I received from Faith at Delightful Inspiration. If you are not familiar with Delightful Inspiration, you really should go check this challenge blog out. Faith offers a weekly progressive challenge where she provides a free digital image the first week of the month, you create a card/project with the free image and post on your blog linking back to
Designed2Delight Digital Stamps, link your card on the
Delightful Inspiration blog by Thursday, for playing along you will receive the following week's free digital image in your email from Faith. Repeat the process each week to play in the current challenge and receive free digital images. It's a fun challenge and the free images are cute and fun to create with.
Here is my card for this week's digital image called Scaredy Cat, I used Cosmo Crickets Matilda design papers, Spellbinder's blossom and circle die cuts, a pieces of ribbon from stash and glittery candy dots.
Ok back to my chores and then hopefully some time in my craft rooms since this hasn't been an option the past few days as well with my little guy here.
