Fussy and Fancy Challenge teams up with StampInsanity to Fight Breast Cancer

Happy Thursday blogger friends,

Today Fussy and Fancy is parntering up with Groovy Gurlz from StampInsanity Challenge for a very special cause. For this challenge we are starting our new challenge today instead of our normal Friday. StampInsanity, our sponsor this week, is releasing a new digi stamp set called Katie For a Cure. This set available exclusively at at StampInsanity store, costs $10 with proceeds benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

StampInsanity is generously donating a digi set of the winners choice. Here's a bit of info from Beth about why Katie For A Cure and the fight against breast cancer is important to her:
Katie for a Cure is a very special set I designed to honor my cousin Kate, who earlier this year, at age 33, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Kate is the picture of health and vitality, and her spirit is magical. She has two very young children, and is in the prime of her life – which makes her diagnosis all the more distressing. As only Katie can, she is fighting this disease with the strength and grace of a pure champion. Her story is sadly not unique, but this is my Katie, and I had to do something. It is tragic, but I am sure that my family is not the only one to have this disease repeatedly rearing its head at us. It is my hope that together we will raise a donation that we can all be proud of. And if nothing else, Kate will get a smile from all the beautiful cards that you share with us. Thank you all in advance for your donations and your creations!

Our Theme for Fussy and Fancy Challenge #16 is PINK and BLACK

Basic Grey Design Olivia collection, Prima Roses, May Arts ribbon, Charm from Hobby Lobby,Copics RV21,R20,W5,W7 BG10,E00,E02

Please join us in this fight against this awful beast and help make a difference for Kate. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women, except for skin cancers. The chance of developing invasive breast cancer at some time in a woman's life is a little less than 1 in 8 (12%). Run don't walk over to StampInsanity

As Beth mentioned above her family is not the only one to have this disease repeatedly rearing its head, This is a cause very dear to me, as I personally watch  my 31year old daughter fightt this deadly disease, She was one of those statistics of 1 in 8. We are so looking forward to Celebrating her 5 year cancer free mark this October.

Our Pink and Black challenge will begin today and run through Thursday August 12th, Please join us, as we would love to see your Pink and Black creations. Just link your post to Fussy and Fancy Challenge #16.
