Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge #54

Hi there and a Happy Monday!!

Whew what a wonderful weekend, but glad to see things more calm and my to-do list with alot less to do!!! Our graduation party for my grandson was perfect and so much fun. It was good to see and spend time with  friends and family.  Both ball games on Saturday and Sunday were exciting and fun , just wish it wasn't so darn hot, I know I love the heat but the humdity was very high. Poor Hunter was just drenched each inning wearing all that catcher equipment. But he never complained, just kept asking for another washcloth from the cooler. LOL!! Taylor was amazing during his game yesterday, first time he's been on a baseball team and I have to give much KUDOS to the men and ladies that help make this Special Olympic organization so special for these kids. They had a ball playing and giving their best. Taylor was a joy to watch and was so proud when he hit the ball on 4 out of his 6 times up to bat.

Today I have two cards I would like to share, I love sketch challenges and Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge is one blog I look forward to playing each week. I find  a lot of inspiration with their sketches and this week's sketch was one that inspired me in a couple of different ways.

My first card is pretty much right on the sketch, using a button for the embellishment on the side of the layout.

I used a Whimsie Doodle digital image, coloring it up with bright colors using my Copics to match my fun designer paper from Bo Bunny "Petal Pusher Greenhouse". Ribbon and button is from PTI.

For my second card I flipped the sketch and used just ribbon for the embellishment.

This fun paper is from We Are Memory Keepers "Old Glory - Freedom", image was a freebie I picked up on blog land (edited 6pmThe image used on my card is from Digital Delights by Louby Loo - thanks to my friend Joni for helping me remember it is Wendy's great image) that I colored with Copics, clear gelly glitter pen, the ribbon is from a SU designer pack that I found in my stash. Couldn't believe how perfect it matched the DP.

Off to do some much needed housework and then some crafting. Have a wonderful day, thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoy my creations.
Hugs
Jacki

Hey Jacki!! Adorable lineup today, I love the Whimsie Doodle bee, he makes you feel so bad for him! haha! The sketches are awesome, I love how you showed such a nice variety of how it can be interpreted. The second image looks like a Digital Delights by Wendy image. You can see her blogspot Here. Have a super day my dear friend!!
