Two minds + 1 love of a stamp

I have enjoyed making cards for a monthly card swap that Melissa (stampedbym) has hosted for the past couple of years. This round I will be hostessing the swap as Melissa takes on a new venture with her new challenge blog Tuesday Morning Sketches. So the new round starts in July and each stamper takes a month to be hostess of their group by suppling a kit with images and DP for 6 cards to each stamper in the group. I am hostess for July for group #1 and here is the card I made with the image and Designer paper I sent out as my July kit. I added a challenge of making a creative fold.



For my card, I made a flap card (trifold card) using a Making Memorey magnatic snap to hold it close. Stamp is "Pool Guy" by Stampendous, I colored him with copics, ribbon and DP is from Michaels.


Group #4 hostess is Dee (cookiemonster) and when I received her kit I had to laugh,just like my title two minds and 1 great stamp. Even the paper was so simalar that I thought this is "wild". Dee's kits included some great Designer paper, ribbon and red button. Her challenge was to add a tag! Here is my creation for her great kit.



This lil "Pool Guy" is colored with Copics, using my scalloped nestabilities I made the base, then added some white dots on each scallop with a white gel pen.
