I have two cards today as I used images from both our wonderful sponsors 

My first card features this adorable image from StampArt Designs called 
Happy Little Bunny 

I dug into my scrap basket this week and found these wonderful papers to use with this 

adorable bunny. I paper pieced her little outfit in pink gingham which I thought worked well with the other paper scraps on the card! My two picks are Die Cuts and Ribbon .

My next card showcases a Bugaboo Stamp image called Scene It - Ladybug

Again digging through scrap basket I found some more wonderful Spring papers.

For my card I picked this sweet image from Bugaboo Stamps to create with.

This sweetie is called Winter Bird with Scarf and he is freezing out in this darn cold weather we have been 

having!! LOL! Perfect sweet image to remind us all here in the East just how much the temperatures have dropped over the past few weeks! Sentiment is computer generated and I plan on sneaking this sweet little guy in my neighbor's mailbox. They must love the cold alot more than I do and thought she would get a kick out of my card, since I turn into a hermit in the winter and don't come out unless it's a must have to until Spring!

I couldn't decide on selecting an image this month, just way too many cute ones to choose from, along with most of my team had their bids in real early this month LOL!

So I took a look around in my Bugaboo collection and decided Deacon on Swing would work well for this challenge.

My design was inspired by this week's sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday

Arlana always has some great sketches each week to help get your mojo moving and after seeing the SSW design team creations I was truly inspired.

My papers are by Pink Paislee Vintage Moon, Martha Stewart Maple leaf punch, PTI button and jute from stash.

I have a lot to share with you today and to begin with my first post is all about the new challenge we have over on the Love to Create Challenge!

Coloring this beautiful image was fun using my Copic markers B04, B05, YG01,YG03

for the flowers and leaves. These goregous papers are from Authentique "Journey", back with

with Gorgeous Blues and Browns.

Today I am sharing Friends Wine 2 which I colored with my Copic, Sakura Gel Glitter pens.

From my dies I used my large scalloped and cut three strips from card stock and then adhered them together to create my scallop border. I used a flower punch for the purple flower in my grouping.

For my inside I created a menu for today's festivals

Having a July birthday myself, I just recently enjoyed a wonderful birthday with my children and grand children. They took me out to lunch to "MAGGIANO'S LITTLE ITALY" and let me say their food is delicious!! Not only do they serve you a huge portion, you then are given a whole meal of your choice to take home..... Among all the wonderful items on their menu, I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan for lunch and brought home their handmade Four Cheese Ravioli with Pesto-Alfredo cream sauce. YUMMMMMMM......

Homemade cupcakes from my beautiful oldest daughter for dessert..... A wonderful lunch with a very full belly, I was definitely ready for a nap when I came back home.

Bugaboo Wednesday Tutorial

Today's project is a very easy card post-it note holder.
It is so simple and easy, yet makes a nice "thank you " or "thinking of you gift"

Here is what you'll need:

4.25 x 11" piece of Cardstock

4.25 x 5.5" piece of Cardstock

ScorPal or Scoring tool

Stamps and Other Embellishments

1 chipboard coaster or piece of chipboard

Post-it note pad

Scor your 4.25x11" piece of card stock at 5.5" then scor one side at 2.75"

fold over to create your easel

Decorate bottom half of your base, cut chipboard or coaster to fit

the bottom piece of post-it note pad, glue together, then glue

this to your base.

Decorate your 4.25x5.5 cardstock with your favorite layout using your image and embellishments create your card front.

Attach bottom half of card front to the easel part of your base.

Finished card with post-it notes

Being that this is the month of several different causes,  you will hear about many walks and fund raisers  for many different causes,such as Juvenile Diabetes and Breast Cancer. What is Your Cause? What do you hold close to Your Heart?

I am sharing two causes today, which are both two that I support and that are very close to my heart!
As many already know (if you been following my blog) Breast Cancer Awareness is one cause that we as woman can not ignore. One in every Eight woman are diagnosed with Breast Cancer in their lifetime, Men are not safe from this ugly disease either. So please, please do your self exams monthly!

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness I made this file folder using the Ribbon Bear from Bugaboo Stamps.

Here is a side view showing the accordion part of this project.

Purple Ribbon - A purple ribbon is worn to bring awareness to many causes, one of them being

Domestic Violence.

Over the years, a number of sources have been credited with originating the use of purple ribbon as a 
unifying symbol of courage, survival, honor and dedication to ending domestic violence.

October is also the month for Domestic Violence Awareness

During the month awarness, it recognizes the tremendous progress made in reducing domestic violence, and a time to recommit to making every one's home a safe place for them.

Domestic violence remains a devastating crisis when one in four women will be physically or sexually assaulted by a partner at some point in her lifetime.

Poppi Penquin is ready for some fun

Happy Thursday!

Today I am sharing a card I made with Poppi Penguin from Bugaboo Stamps, if you are signed up for Bugaboo's monthly newsletter, then you too received Poppi to play with too, as He was the free image that was available with the October newsletter. Not signed up? well head on over to the Bugaboo challenge blog and get on the mailing list, (look in the upper right hand corner),  there still time to sign up and receive the November newsletter that will be coming soon.

I colored my image up a while back at the beginning of the month and it has been sitting on my desk just waiting to be made into a card. So when I started, I knew I wanted it to be bright and cheerful so I started with some of PTI Beautiful Blooms designer paper using the red and white polk a dots, as the Poppy Red is a vibrant color and matched with the red I used in Poppi's scarf.  From there I just picked another pattern from the pack to help bring in some more color to my layout, which then  lead me to accent with the black. I added some Stardust Stickles to help define his fun snowballs he is ready to play with and then used Holly and Firecracker to add some bling to his Poinsettia on his hat. Snowflakes were punched using my MS snowflake punch, Ribbon is from my ribbon stash, then I used  Dress it Up glitter buttons for all four corners. My layout is a older sketch from Friday Sketchers. Hope you like.
