Hugs & Kisses

Hello Crafty friends, Hope you are enjoying your first weekend of the New Year!!

We all have been fighting this nasty flu bug that's been going around, and hoping it won't return anytime soon to this house!! Between disinfecting everything, taking care of two sick boys (eeek the oldest one hubby being the biggest baby), I was able to find some ME time in my craft room and play a bit with some sweet images from The Digi Garden!

I love this adorable image from The Garden Digi , Jacqui was offering as a freebie, Ursula's Big Valentine Heart
and colored her up with my Copic Markers then paired her with some sweet Echo Park Yours Truly papers.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
Thanks for visiting!

Love to Create Challenge Fancy Edges

Hi everyone, Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a fantatic weekend!! Mine was
super busy but exceptionally fun!!
Our little man turned 3 on Friday and we celebrated his
birthday Saturday with both families and friends!!

Sunday I got to spend the whole  day, I am talking 12 hours
with the 1 year old!! Geez talk about being worn out! Love her to pieces but
just not cut out to babysit those long hours anymore!!! Guess that's a sign that I am getting old!!
Well on to my cards I am sharing, Today begins a new challenge over on my challenge blog
This week we are sharing a fun challenge

"Fancy Edges"

with two fabulous sponsors
First is a card I created using a Sassy Studio Design image!
Sassy Studio Designs sponsors our challenge on the second Monday of every month.

I colored up this beautiful image called Lingerie Sassy, giving her lots of bling with glitter and Stickles. My fancy edges were created with dies and border punch. Found this awesome sentiment in a package that I received from Viva Las Vegas Rubber Stamps, I inked in white but it is hard to see in the photo, it reads "If loving ewe is wrong, I don't want to be right". Design paper, gems and velvet ribbon from my stash.

For second sponsor, I am thrilled to have The Digi Garden as our new sponsor!!
I simply adore all of her images and had a really hard time to just pick one to play with!

I finally decided to color up this cutie, "Emily Skates" and although I don't usually go for the
bright colors, I knew she would be perfect to go outside my comfort zone and go with the
bright pinks and blues!! I added some MS corse Crystal glitter for snow and added some Star Dust Stickles to her skates.

Hope I have inspired you to come join us at Love to Create Challenge, for a chance to win some fabulous prizes from both of our sponsors!!

Thanks for visiting!!

Just a Little Something.......

    Good Morning friends,

I hope everyone is having a lovely morning!  I discovered a new digi company that I instantly fell in love with!!  All thanks to my friend Chris who shared this company's  adorable site via facebook!!!

So of course I wanted them all once I browsed the store and took advantage of the fabulous sale Jacqui (owner of The Digi Garden) was offering over the weekend.

Here's my first card showcasing Ursula's Lollipops, isn't she sooooo cute!!
Creating my card for their current challenge I colored her up using Copic Markers, pairing her with some Basic Grey Sugar Rush design papers

The Digi Garden's current challenge is  a color challenge

Be sure to go like The Digi Garden on Facebook -
pick up the freebie Jacqui is offering before it is gone - then you too can come play along with me and enjoy these adorable images

Thanks for visiting me this morning, hope you have a lovely day!!
