Sweet Stamp Challenge Stipple or Songe with Color

Hello and a Happy Tuesday!!

It's a new week with a new challenge technique at Sweet Stamps Challenge blog!

This week the team was challenged to either use stipple brushes or sponges to color

Well I went right for my favorite sponges and some colors Shades Dye Ink to create my fun card this week!!

This   gorgeous stamp is from the New October Release Sweet Stamps introduced
this past week. Robyn Bird Silhouette, this stamp immediately caught my eye
when I received the new stamps and I thought what a beautiful stamp this would be for a
very frilly thinking of you type of card. Then the more I kept looking at it, I kept having envision of it for so many different styles!! That I thought oh I bet it would be super to try to see if it would
work for a Halloween card against a moon background!! So knowing our challenge this week
was Stippling or Sponging some color I thought I would give it a go!!
And I love how it turned out!!!

For my moon I started sponging my circle with  Shades dye ink in Buttercup then
used Shades dye ink Papaya on the outer circle, going back over it with Buttercup.
I then stamped the stamp with embossing ink and emboss using Sparkly Black Embossing Powder.
To add a finish touch to my project I added Black Pearls using Viva Decor Pearl Pen

Each week Sweet Stamps has a new challenge and although you are not required to use a Sweet Stamp, if you have some we would love for you to use them and you will receive a second entry into our draw.

Our prize each week to one lucky winner is a $20.00 gift certificate to Sweet Stamp Store for use on any of our wonderful rubber stamps
