Today  there is a new Dare to Be Sassy Thursday challenge!!

Our challenge this week is - Fancy Folds 

What a fun challenge this is for me, love to try new card folds and so once again I was inspired by a card I seen on Pinterest for a Gate Fold Easel card!!  Since there wasn't a tutorial for her inspiration, I created my own version and love how it turned out, so would love to hear what you think!!

I began by creating a Gate Fold card, cutting my card stock 5 1/2 by 11 inches 

Scoring at 2 3/4  and  8 1/4 to create my Gate Fold base 

This gives you your inside platform of  5 1/2 x 5 1/2.

I then cut a piece of card stock (color of my base matting) 5 1/2 x 11

scoring at 5 1/2 and 8 1/4 -  folding the top portion in half  on the 8 1/4 score line for my easel base.This gives you a  5 1/2 x 5 1/2 base and a 2 3/4 stand to attach your main easel base

 which was cut at  5 1/2 x 5 1/2

I matted my card using a shimmery grey card stock onto my white base matting then my designer paper.

Adding my  Sassy Studio Sassy Bella Bride image,  sentiments and lots of bling.

i.e. Easel cards are very hard to photograph
