Sweet Stamps Challenge #108 St Patrick's Day

Hello and Happy Tuesday Morning!!

Here to share with you, my DT card for this week's challenge over on the Sweet Stamps Challenge blog!

This week our theme is St Patrick's Day 

Although my card is not showcasing some of the wonderful St Patrick's Day stamps that Sweet Stamps offers (My order I was placing I never completed,so needless to say I didn't receive any of the stamps I wanted to share -  talk about a senior moment) I think that if we think outside the box and use our imagination with the stamps we do have that sometimes we can create a card for any occasion.

So going with the St Patrick's Day green theme, I looked through my stash of Sweet Stamps rubber stamps and created my own vision of a card I could share for St Patrick's Day

I began creating by stamping the beautiful  Lacy Bookmark Frame (410J) with Memento Cottage Ivy ink  onto Mellow Moss card stock, the inking up Antique Leaf Scroll Border (5003H) stamp and cutting to fit within my Lacy Bookmark frame to create a elegant bookmark. I then randomly added some very mini beige pearls for my embellishments.

Once I had my bookmark created, I created my card to present it with. Using papers from   Bo Bunny Welcome Home collection I created a envelope flap to hold my bookmark. Simple but a bit elegant, this would make a great card for St Patrick's Day by finishing with one of the great sentiments  Sweet Stamps  offers for St Patrick's Day. I will be adding a sentiment before sending out but wanted to show it without since it was a project for St Patrick's Day theme.
