Counter Top Betty

Hello all my Crafty Friends,

Hope you all are having a fantastic Friday evening!! I took the day off to spend some quality time in my craft room   Opp's I mean to spend the day with Hunter, since he was off school for an in-service day!! So after having lunch of his choice "YUM" love Panera Bread, running some errands then good ole people watching at Walmart!! (Definitely some good laughs today there). I am finally in the craft room!!!

I have had this project storming my brain ever since I snagged this New collection from Simply Betty Stamps   on a pre-release buy!!  This Betty Boo collection is simply FABULOUS, I am really loving these new Betty Boo gals!!

So I have colored all of the images from Betty Boo collection 1, knowing that today these would be available in the store and there would be a contest over on Simply Betty Stamps blog for a chance to win the next 4 images in the next new collection.

So I had to let this idea that I have had floating around  take control and here is what I came up with!! Hope you like as much as I do - finally an idea worked the way I had hoped it would!!

I used Counter Top Betty from the new Betty Boo Collection 1

Here is the front of my card

Now this card is a 6x6 and I folded it at 3 and 9 inches which created
my flaps which I then  hand drew  6 squares for a pane glass window effect!
I used clear acetate sheet for the glass, cut to fit each door panel
When you open the doors - here is the inside of card

Counter Top Betty in all her glory!! hahaaaa  Don't you just love her?
I used one of the sentiments that are included with the collection "Hiya Sweet Cheeks"
Boy, if I only looked half this good, I know my husband would be shocked to come home to me sitting up on our counter top!!! LOL okay just kidding after 42 years he probably have a heart attack!! If not then he would surely have me toted off to the closest loony bin!!

Here's a side view of the door panel and the inside!!

Now this was definitely a fun card to create!!

Take a minute or two and visit Simply Betty's blog as the Design Team has a
fabulous hop showcasing all four of the images from this new Collection
