Think Pink with Sweet Stamps

Hello on this Beautiful Tuesday Morning!!

Here to share with you, my DT card for this week's challenge over on the  Sweet Stamps Challenge blog!

This week we are working with shades of pink for our
"Think Pink" challenge

Each week Sweet Stamps has a new challenge and although you are not required to use a Sweet Stamp, if you have some we would love for you to use them and you will receive a second entry into our draw.

This beautiful stamp is one of  our newly released ATC stamps called Cabbage Rose, it's a perfect size for ATC cards or for a standard card. Mine is a 5.5 x 5.5 and accessorizing with dies works perfectly with a larger card. I stamped the image twice onto white card stock then fuzzy cut the around the first two leaves which gave me the center of the flower that I then pop on top of the first image to give some dimension to the image.
Using Cheery Lynn Designs ' French Pastry Doily Die, Queen Anne's Lace border die and Spellbinder Lacy Circle die layered the image to fit with my card size. Light pink seam binding, button, pearls and sentiment stamp 902 Script Thank You  were added to complete my card. Papers are from Authentique - Splendid and Lovely collections

Along with our weekly challenges, Sweet Stamps offers a monthly challenge using a different technique each month

This month beginning today running till the 15th of February our technique
is Embossed Embossing

Our prize each week to one lucky winner is a $20.00 gift certificate to Sweet Stamp Store for use on any of our wonderful rubber stamps

Rember you can find everything you need to create your one of a kind cards in the Sweet Stamp store

Beautiful coloring on the Cabbage Rose. I love the soft muted colors and distressed look and also the lacy look of the doily and border dies. Very vintage looking.
