Brayer Background with Sweet Stamps

Happy Tuesday !!
Today I have a card for this week's challenge at Sweet Stamps

Our Challenge for this week is
Brayered Background
use a brayer to create a colorful background
I love this design team as it definitely makes me think outside
my little comfort zone!! Of course in all the years that I have been crafting, can you beleive I do not own a brayer????
Well after thinking this over for quite awhile - let me say my creative side finally
clicked and like all crafters went searching for something that I do have that would work!!
A good old standard size paint roller!!!
Each week Sweet Stamps has a new challenge and although you are not required to use a Sweet Stamp, if you have some we would love for you to use them and you will receive a second entry into our draw.

Our prize each week to one lucky winner is a $20.00 gift certificate to Sweet Stamp Store for use on any of our wonderful rubber stamps.

Okay are you ready to see what you can do with a
paint roller? Of course I could of sworn I had one of those small sponge rollers that you use for those small areas on your walls, but if I did it definitely was
not something I kept!! So opened up a new roller cover - you know the ones you use for your walls and ceiling!!!

Picked out two ink pads - Shades dye ink by Sweet Stamps
Reflecting Pool - Teal Blue and Purple Majesty

Using my big ol roller with cover I rolled my ink onto a piece of
Glossy White card stock - mmmm guess what it worked perfectly!!!
I then cut using a oval die cut and then stamped this beautiful image of
Ballerina Silhouette (504) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I really wanted to use of the awesome embossing powder with her but it just didn't work to my liking on the Glossy card stock.
I layered my image onto a Scalloped Oval die and then adhere to some older Basic Grey papers from the Kioshi collection
To give the finish touch I add some baby blue ribbon,
