Bleaching with Sweet Stamps

Good Morning and a Happy Tuesday

Today, I am sharing my DT card for this week's challenge at Sweet Stamps
Our theme for this week's challenge is using the Bleaching technique
(using bleach to highlight areas of a stamped image)

I followed the bleaching technique as shown on splitcoaststampers resource

I stamped this beautiful stamp Entwined Roses with Distress Clear Embossing ink and then added
Memento Tuxedo Black ink on top before stamping onto my Kraft paper. Once my image was stamped I then sprinkled it with Fine Clear embossing powder, using my heat gun I heated the image until the Clear embossing powder dried. I then took a paintbrush dipped in Clorox Bleach to the image. Using bleach on Kraft paper  the results are a pale yellow tone. I used my Copic Y17 to add some shading to the flowers and Copic Y01 & Y03 for the leaves and stems.

I designed my card using this week's sketch from The Sweetest Thing using the beautiful papers of Authentique Blissful 6x6 paper pad  and sentiment stamp "Thank You"

Each week Sweet Stamps has a new challenge and although you are not required to use a Sweet Stamp, if you have some we would love for you to use them and you will receive a second entry into our draw.

Our prize each week to one lucky winner is a $20.00 gift certificate to Sweet Stamp Store for use on any of our lovely rubber stamps.

Be sure to visit Sweet Stamps blog and see what the rest of the team has created for you.   And please join in on the fun!!
