Tuesday Morning Sketches

Welcome to a day full of fun blog post - I have four today so please scroll up and down to see all the fun projects I am sharing today.

This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches, we have  fun sketch and a new sponsor Stretch n Bubbles is joining us as our wonderful sponsor.

WOW, this is definitely going to be a fun challenge sketch this week.

Let me tell you, I looked at this one and knew immediately what I had to do ....
First I had to go looking in all my baskets that hold my Stampin Up stamps
until I found the one I knew I wanted to use. How sad is this that I had to hunt for my stamps, it has
been ages since I gave a thought to my old faithful Stampin Up stamps and probably longer since this
one has seen any ink on it!!

First sorry for the glare, no matter how I angled the card or the camera it was constantly there
but that is all due to the Acetate that I used for the cover of my card!
So once I found my stamp set I wanted Snow Swirled then I had to hunt down my Encore Metallic Silver ink pad - yes it was still good to go after sitting in a drawer for icons. I cut a piece of Acetate 4 .25 x 5.25
and used two of the different snowflake stamps on it, I then stamped the tree onto True Black card stock
and then a few crystal gems for accent. Oh and my gorgeous ribbon (that I won from Really Reasonable Ribbons last week) Love it!! So rich and plain gorgeous!  There you have my card, easy as pie ( just had to let the ink dry on the acetate) and it was finished.

Ok it's your turn, come share with us how you see this sketch as a card of your own!!

Be sure to take a minute to swing over to the design team
to see more wonderful inspiration

Gorgeous, elegant card, Jacki! The acetate card technique is so perfect for this sketch and love this set for it! Thanks for reminding me about this fun set -- I need to dust off mine, too!

Absolutely stunning! The black and silver is gorgeous and I can only imagine what it looks like in real life. Being a clear card, I'm sure it's breathtaking.
