Hello, so glad to have you visit,
This week at Sweet Stamps
we have a really fun challenge for you.
Parchment
Oh, if you haven't tried this technique then you must!! This is my first attempt with Parchment and I have to say I absolutely love it!!
I will be sure to be playing more using this technique.
Now you don't have to use a frame as a lot of the Sweet Stamps' stamps work great with this technique!
I used two different stamps for my card, the frame is Hearts and Scallops 441 , along with Embroidery Basket 466 both can be found in the store
This technique as I said is very easy and the results are stunning, makes for a very soft and elegant card. For photograph reasons I added black card stock behind the vellum to showcase the parchment results which is very pretty. In real life the vellum against the blush card stock is very soft, feminine and beautiful as well.
As you can see using just the stamp Embroidery Basket 466 (stamp in the middle) would of been beautiful alone on a card.
Now you definitely will want to hop over to the challenge blog, as the design team have some absolutely gorgeous parchment cards they are sharing.
I hope you will join us for our challenge as we have a very sweet prize for one lucky winner store gift certificate of $20.00

This is so pretty! I had a go once but found it very time consuming... my kids were really small then... maybe I should have another go!!!!

Really pretty. I love how you left the image white to really show off the vellum. Nice and delicate.
This is such a beauty! Love the elegant beauty of this one.
Jackie, this card is so dainty looking. I love the simplicity of the dry embossing. The little flower, ribbon and pearls really set it off. It's beautiful.
Jackie, this is gorgeous! Your etching is great, I love the stamp combination you used and the pearl, ribbon & flower accents are fabulous!
