Embellish It with Tuesday Morning Sketches

Greetings on this Tuesday morning

I am sure this is a busy week for everyone but I hope you will find a minute or two for some crafty time as Tuesday Morning Sketches has a fun challenge for you this week.

           EMBELLISH IT 

Melissa wants to see your favorite decorative papers, and embellishments in a non- traditional way - ie, eyelets placed as a bee trail, or buttons that fill a center of a flower, use ribbon to create a flower etc

For my card I used one of my favorite papers Basic Grey and these are from the Cappella collection, distressed Tim Holtz distressed tattered rose ink. I then used my Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations die for the first time, for the bird and cage.

for my non-traditional embellishments I added jump rings to these charms and the hung them from the bottom of the bird cage.

Pearl swirls are from Prima Say it in Pearls. this photo shows the distressing with Tim Holtz tattered rose and antique linen inks

My flowers are from Prima and the lighter ones are found in the wedding section in my local Hobby Lobby , leaf punch is MS.
