Pink, Brown and Yellow with a bit of Mojo Monday

Sweet Sunday morning ,

Hope your weekend has been a splendid one so far and you will have a great day while bringing it to an end. After a week of Spring Break I am sad to see the new week begin. Hunter returns back to school tomorrow and we have had a very fun and enjoyable week together. Yesterday we went over to the batting cage and let him hit a few balls (1/2 hours worth) ha ha!  actually it was alot of balls flying at him. He totally amazed me as his heart is really into the sport this year and was very impressive with his stance and his swing. Afterwards we ran over to Target and them to the movies to see The Blind Side, great movie!  It was just as good as everyone has said it would be and of course I found myself with a few sniffles and tears.

I spent some me time, creating last night and was able to get a few projects completed for the coming week. Plus I was able to play a little with a couple of challenges.

I loved the sketch from Mojo Monday this week so I had to play along with one of the new Bug Brats images from Bugaboo Stamps.  When I went to decide on my colors and papers I thought about the challenge over at Crafts and Me which is  Pink, Brown and Yellow this week and Bugaboo is the sponor this week, where the winner will receive 7 free images from the Bugaboo store. I normally get a brain freeze when I come across a color combo challenge but this one just felt right and so I went with it.

My base and matting is SU Barely Banana, DP is both  Basic Grey paper from the  Bittersweet pack using Mousse and Brittle

image is colored with Copic, ribbon is SU Pretty in Pink, Pearls are from Recollection at Michaels, border punch is SU open scalloped punch.
