Beautiful weather outside today, I hope to get out and work a little in the yard later this afternoon. It rained a little yesterday but surprisingly it has been a pretty dry month for us here. But then I don't want to jink myself but as they say April Showers brings May flowers.
I played last night with some images and since I found this cutie of a free image over at Wink Wink Ink and just had to play with him. I didn't get their challenge quite right as I forgot to add a border punch but was able to combine a couple of other challenges into the card.
My card' sketch is this week's sketch for Truly Scrumptious along with their theme of April Showers, and since I used my Basic Grey Lime Rickey I am entering also in this week's challenge at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations and their theme of April Showers too.
I just love the beautiful colors of this Basic Grey papers, so bright and cheery. Doesn't his rain coat and boots look yummy!!!
Along with the Basic Grey paper, I layered it onto SU Pacfic Point cardstock, added some delicious Prima flowers and buds, Basic Grey bling it as accent and used my bubble CB folder to added some embossing to my matting. The yummy Orange ribbon is from my stash that a friend was so king to send me.
