Well it the first day of the winter that school was closed due to the snow... and of course these grandsons of mine are just loving that we received the call telling us that there would be no school today !!
Now I hoping they can find things to keep themselves occupied and quiet as this is suppose to be my day to catch up on my crafting .......
StampFairy's new challenge blog is featuring their first challenge today. The theme for this challenge is "Glam it up" use glitter or Stickles on your card.
Here is my DT card for our first challenge, I used one of the new Lenny released image and added lots of glitter to my card.
I started with MS fine crystal glitter for the band on the ornament and the middle of his fur trim on his hat and shirt then outlined the fur with SU Dazzlings Diamonds to make it pop. For the sentiment I lined the top and bottom edges with SU Dazzling Diamonds.
I love the color combo of this blue and red in these Echo Park Wintertime papers and matted with PTI Spring Rain and Poppy Red. I followed this week's sketch at The Sweet Stop SSS#86 for my layout.
