A Friend in Need

Good morning friends,
A nice cold sunny morning to you, it is so nice to see the sun shinning, but I hear it's not sticky around for long as they are saying more snow coming in the next day or so.

Seems I have been making a lot of "Hope You Feel Better" cards lately with all the head colds and sore throats every one seems to be getting. Oh how I can't wait for spring to arrive.

This is Herbert and he is not feelin his best, but his good friend Bigsby is there to help him bounce back to normal soon. I fell in love with this image when I seen in on Karen's Doodles site.

First Kiss ... so sweet

Well Good Morning!! Are you having to dig yourself out this morning? I sure am even with Hubby shoveling yesterday the 7 inches we got, there's about 3 more that came overnight. I know I am blessed with only 10 inches of snow as some of you gals really got hammered with it. Luckily I had yesterday off for some appointments, but never made it to them as I just couldn't bring myself to venture out.

I can't remember when I have had so much fun making Valentine's cards nor can I remember ever making as many as I have the last few weeks. I keep finding another cute image and have to have it. Ever have that happen to you?? Well my card today is an adorable, sweet image I picked up over at Karen's Doodles she has the most adorable images if you haven't visited her blog then you must. I am positive you will fall in love with all the digital images she has.



As you can see it's all about that first kiss, this little guy reminds me so much of my Nicholas or Pickle as we call him. Only he is a blonde not a Burnett, but I wasn't paying attention when I started coloring their hair,as I switched it up. He of course at 6 years old has had his share of girlfriends, and has received his first kiss about 2 years ago at daycare. The way he tells the story is he was playing and this sweet little girl ran up to him and grabbed him then planted a big kiss on his sweet cheek. Of course he says it was "gross"! Haha!
Oh how I love to hear him talk of his girlfriends.

Ingredients of the card is PTI - cardstock % DP Simply Valentines, the ribbon, flowers and candy buttons I found in my stash box.

God's Little Angel

Good morning,
Oh, it's a blanket of white stuff out there and it just keeps falling! We are expected to get about 3-7 inches on top of the 6 six inches that we received this past Friday & Saturday. So no school for the little one today, but that's going to be Grandpa's job to keep him entertained for the day. Ha!
Me well I am on my way to the Dentist - oh boy can't wait for this visit, then I am off to the ENT doctor to hopefully get some relief from the pain I have been in for the past two weeks. Dang sinus seems to think it would be fun to settle behind the good ole ear. I tell ya it's been a hard winter on this body of mine and so look forward to spring and summer. OK enough of the whining here, as I am sure you did not stop by to lend your shoulder for me to whine on this morning.

Today I wanted to share with you an image that was so sweetly sent to me by Karen over at Karen's Doodles , she is called "God's little Angel". Karen drew this after seeing a picture on one of her followers blog of her little girl. Fabulous take on the picture too!




The sketch is for the challenge over on Sketch & Stash #28, what a fun sketch to play with. I added the corner elements to my card but other than that I followed it completely. One of the challenges at Sketch & Stash is to use your newest stash with the sketch - So my newest stash is this sweet image, along with my new MS heart punch, the crystal bling were also new as in never opened or used.

Ingredients: Image colored with Copics, PTI-Pink Blush cs, DP- Basic Grey Two Scoops, Ribbon- PTI Enchanted Evening and pink is from stash, MS- heart punch,Bling - Basic Grey, SU-Dazzling Diamonds.
