Few more days and Summer will be official here, Yeah!!! warm weather, sunny skies, and fun with the kiddos.

Here is a card that I hope will get you ready for all that summer fun you have planned.

I used the sketch from Truly Scrumptious #34 for my card's layout, perfect for this Karen Doodles image. DP is from Me&My bid ideas - Coastal Culture pack, image colored with copics, added Sakura clear gelly pen for some shimmer on the bike chrome and sunglasses, SU  Make It Count for the sentiment. Karen Doodles challenge sketch - United Kingdom

Hi friends,

This is my second post of the day - if you wish to see the Critter Sketch Challenge #18 please click here.

Karen Doodles shop has some of the cutest images available and I thought this card would make a wonderful Father's day card. This image reminds me of quite a few years ago when my grown children were little and I would leave them with their dad to either run errands or during the weekend when I was working. Having three very close in age, two girls and one boy I am sure there were many times my hubby had this look of utter stress on his face.

I used the sketch for this week's challenge at Karen Doodles, United Kingdom challenge blog. For my card I used PTI Ripe Avocado card stock, DP is My Minds Eye Lush Collection patterned paper that I picked up at Die Cuts R Us, Colored with Copics E00, E02, RV32, Rv20, Y21, E33, E34,E35 Y15,YR23, YG23, YG67, R29, RV11, BG10, E41, B00, B34, BO1, flowers, button from my stash and ticket sentiment was a free digi from FCD.

This card will also fit with the following challenges:
Totally Stamplicious- Father's Day
Cup Cake Craft challenge #95 - One for the boys

Thanks for stopping in this afternoon, I hope you have a wonderful day. I appreciate and love all your kind comments, thank you so much for all the love.

Happy Birthday & Sparkle/ Shiny challenges

Hi, again
2nd post for the day - please scroll down for Inktegrity's Hump Day Inspiration Challenge

I was able to play a bit yesterday in my craft room :) see happy face here! Along with getting some DT projects completed I also was able to play with some images that I had sitting on my desk waiting for me to give them some love. I adore Karen's Doodles images, they are so fun to color and create a project with. This week over at Karen's US challenge blog the theme is Birthdays. I thought Bigsby juggling would make a cute birthday card (with all the grandsons, one can never have enough children's cards).

sorry for the poor picture, I am learning how to upload pics on new laptop

Bigsby was colored with Copic (YR18, E34, E35,BG10, E00,R20, BG06, R29, G17), SU Navy card stock for base, BG Cupcake DP, I used Sakura Clear gelly on spokes of the wheel, Crystal Effects for balls, Pebbles Glittery candy dots, sentiment Hero Arts.

Karen's Doodles US challenge - birthday theme
Paper take Challenge - Sparkle, Shiny and Special

Okay, I am off to get a pedicure and some shopping for my trip to Chicago this weekend, thanks for coming by once again. I hope you have a wonderful day.

A few challenges with a cute image

Good Morning friends,

Hope you had a fabulous week and are begining your weekend with some plans that will allow you to enjoy this beautiful spring weather we are having.

I was able to play with some of my Karen's Doodles images yesterday and wanted to get in a few of the wonderful challenges that are out there this week.

This is butterfly girl from Karen's Doodles, this image brings many memories and lots of smiles when I look at it. She reminds me of my oldest daughter when she was little and would be out trying to catch butterflies ( do you look at images and see one of your children in the image?).  I colored her with Copic and tryed to go with colors that I remember of a picture we have of my oldest when she was about 4 years old.

Card base is SU Barley Banana, with PTI Spring Rain then I used JoAnn's Debbie Mumm DP, ribbon is Craft Narrows, blue flower is Prima and the middle is K&Company Wild Saffron, Recollection pearls, Stickles  and MS Rose leaf punch.
 Copic B23, B32, R20, E00, E02, YR 02, G21, RV21, V15, Y21, G07, YG03, E33, E35
