Sharing a cause using Beautiful Blessings

It's me again, I got sidetracked again this today and didn't get this posted like I wanted to this morning. I have been playing in the weekly progressive challenges at Delightful Inspirations and this week Faith gave us this beautiful image to create with in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.
 As you all know this is a cause very dear and close to home after going through Breast Cancer with my 32 year old daughter.One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, so early detection is the key to surviving the disease

I think it is so wonderful that we in blog land do everything we can for this cause through helping to educate, bring awareness, offer hope and encouragement with our cards. Images like this one Faith has given us, is an honor to create with.
 This past Sunday was our local Susan G Komen for the Cure Walk  More than 10,000 dedicated community members participated in this inspirational five-mile walk. What a tremendous honor to be able to walk beside and among so many strong women, including my daughter. Then you think of all those that  weren't able to walk with us but were there watching over and encouraging on the strong survivors. 

If children have the ability to ignore all odds and percentages, then maybe we can all learn from them.  When you think about it, what other choice is there but to hope?  We have two options, medically and emotionally:  give up, or fight like hell.  ~Lance Armstrong

May God heal you, body and  soul. May your  pain cease, May your strength increase, May your fears be released, May blessings, love,and joy surround you .   Amen.

Thinking of You with Delightful Inspiration

Hello on this Beautiful Fall Thursday,

Been down in my stamp studio all afternoon, if I only had a fire place down there I would be the happiest stamper around. It a bit chilly here with the temperatures dropping to the high 60's, not really cold just a big change with the weather and my body taking a bit longer to adjust to the cooler air. hee hee!

I was in need of two cards that I seem always not to have on hand, both needing sentiments of thoughts and prayers. I had this week's image from Delightful Inspiration progressive challenge colored up, so I created a card for a dear friend who's husband was handed some very sad news yesterday regarding his health. I wanted to let her know that we are thinking of her and Steve and keeping them both in our prayers.

This will be entered into the weekly progressive challenge at Delightful Inspiration - Image and Double Delight Challenge - Image Blue and Green
